Inclusion at the Heart of the Santos Peñoles International Cup 2024

As part of the unforgettable experience of the Santos Peñoles International Cup 2024, the tournament proudly features a special category for athletes with intellectual disabilities. This initiative reflects the tournament’s commitment to promoting inclusion, a fundamental part of its Ganar Sirviendo philosophy.

This year, the Guerreros de Corazón category includes 14 teams from cities across Mexico, including Monterrey, Querétaro, and Ciudad Juárez.

A Life-Changing Experience for the Players

Karina Rangel, a teacher at Centro de Atención Múltiple 27, shared what this experience means for her students:

"The kids are beyond excited to be part of this tournament. They are very emotional, and their happiness is overflowing. It’s a dream come true for them to play in the Santos Peñoles Cup."

"Some of the kids had never seen Estadio Corona or the Territorio Santos Modelo facilities before, and now they are overjoyed to be here. They were so excited about the tournament that they couldn’t even sleep in the days leading up to it. Some of them even wore their uniforms non-stop! Now, it’s time to enjoy this great tournament and, most importantly, have fun."
